Missions of Virtue is a non-profit organization, based out of Massachusetts, formed to help improve the lives of women in the inner cities of Jamaica West Indies.  Our vision is to:

 ·        Provide basic needs such as clothing and personal items to meet the needs of the women and their children: We have provided clothing, personal items and food to families in need for years, shipping these from the USA. In the wake of Hurricane Melissa, we have been sending funding to purchase food and help to buy building material for ladies in need.

·        Help these women to improve their standard of living by providing sponsorship for classes, skills training and/or support of job opportunities: We have sponsored people needing to register their businesses, ladies wanting to attend Nursing School and we presently provide part funding for ladies already in higher education who are facing challenges paying the tuition fees.

·        Empower women through spiritual discussion and encouragement: Since 2017, even during the pandemic (to a lesser degree), we have hosted an Annual Conference to encourage and empower women as they face the daily challenges of survival. The ladies are invited into a private, safe space where they can fellowship, be catered for and given a token of remembrance (gift) of the occasion.
