Memphis Made Mentors Memphis Made Mentors is a Memphis-based nonprofit creating powerful exposure and mentorship experiences for youth who deserve to see more, do more, and become more.

We specialize in youth exposure events — immersive experiences that introduce students to new environments, career paths, creative industries, and positive role models they might not otherwise encounter. From author talks and literacy festivals to career panels, creative workshops, and live performance events, we create spaces where young people can see real-life examples of success and possibility.

Many of the students we serve come from communities with limited access to enrichment opportunities. Memphis Made Mentors exists to close that gap.

Our impact includes:

• Serving 100+ youth annually through events and mentorship experiences

• Distributing hundreds of books to encourage literacy and a love for reading

• Hosting career and creative exposure events featuring entrepreneurs, authors, artists, and professionals

• Providing hands-on workshops in writing, storytelling, and creative expression

• Creating safe, inspiring spaces where youth feel seen, heard, and valued

Our programs are designed to do more than entertain — they expand mindsets. When a young person meets an author, speaks with a business owner, or performs in front of an audience for the first time, their sense of what’s possible grows. That shift in belief can change the trajectory of a life.
