Mayhem Robotics is a community-based STEM organization in Bedford, NH, providing students with hands-on experience in engineering, programming, and manufacturing through competitive robotics and outreach programs. We serve students from elementary through high school, creating a pathway from early exploration to real-world engineering.

Our younger students participate in FIRST LEGO League (FLL), where they design, build, and program LEGO-based robots while solving real-world challenges. These teams build foundational skills in problem-solving, teamwork, and communication.

At the high school level, our FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) team designs and builds a 120-pound robot in just a few weeks, then competes at events across New England. Students take on real roles in mechanical design, CAD, programming, electrical systems, and manufacturing—gaining experience that closely mirrors industry.

Beyond competition, Mayhem Robotics is committed to expanding access to STEM. We run camps, workshops, homeschool classes, and community demonstrations, helping introduce more students to robotics and engineering at an early age.

While we build robots, the real impact is student growth. Participants gain confidence, resilience, leadership skills, and the ability to work through complex challenges—skills that prepare them for any future path.

Programs like this require significant resources. Donations support robot materials, tools, competition fees, travel, and outreach efforts. We work to keep our program accessible, but the true cost of delivering this experience is substantial.
