Mates Fund is an Australian-based grassroots charity supporting community-led development projects across the Asia–Pacific, with a focus on access to education, safe water, and essential infrastructure.

Through our programs — including Mates Fiji and Mates Pakistan — we work in partnership with local communities to deliver practical, tangible projects that respond to locally identified needs. Our work includes rainwater harvesting systems, education scholarships, and community wellbeing initiatives that improve everyday quality of life.

Mates Fund prioritises long-term relationships, local leadership, and sustainable outcomes. Projects are designed and delivered collaboratively with community partners, ensuring local ownership and culturally appropriate solutions rather than short-term aid.

We are volunteer-run and committed to transparency and low overheads, ensuring donor contributions are directed toward meaningful, on-the-ground impact.
