Lower moss wood
Around 2000 sick, injured or abandoned wild animals and birds are brought to the wildlife hospital by members of the public each year. We treat, feed and care for these animals and birds with the aim to release them back to the wild where they belong. We rely on donations from the public and also fundraising in order to finance the costs involved as we receive no corporate or government funding.
Classes of primary school children visit the Nature Reserve as part of their learning and are taught all about wildlife and conservation which is a wonderful opportunity and the children thoroughly enjoy. It’s important for our children’s’ future that we protect our wildlife and look after the planet and we feel that the charity plays a vital roll in that so please donate so that we can continue our work.
