About us
The London Food Coalition is a collective of over 25 organizations working together to rescue fresh, surplus food and deliver it to Londoners in need. In 2024, our mission continues: diverting millions of pounds of food from waste and redistributing it to ensure everyone has access to healthy, nutritious food. Together, we’re building a food-secure, waste-free future for our community.The London Food Coalition is a community united against hunger. We were founded to solve two growing problems: food insecurity and food waste. Our mission is simple—rescue surplus food and get it to those who need it most. What started as a small group of organizations has grown into a city-wide initiative uniting businesses, volunteers, and nonprofits. We aim to expand our impact by building stronger partnerships and mobilizing our community to end hunger.
