About us
When London calls, our teams are there, racing to reach those urgently in need of life-saving care.
Our vision is to end preventable deaths in London from life-threatening injury.
Our mission - to save more lives in London through rapid response and cutting-edge care.
We are a charity that works alongside the NHS and our life-saving service is made possible by donations from our supporters.
Our helicopter and rapid response car teams are here 24/7 for every one of the 10 million people who live and work in London.
Our Physician Response Unit attends emergency calls in people’s homes.
Our Patient Liaison Nurse supports patients and families on their road to recovery.
Whether it’s a large-scale emergency like the Westminster Bridge terror attacks, or individual emergencies like road traffic or workplace accidents, every day, people across London need emergency medical care, fast.
The team, consisting of an advanced trauma doctor, paramedic and consultant on most missions, can perform treatments such as open-heart surgery, blood transfusions and general anaesthetic by the roadside.
By providing intervention quickly, we aim to give patients the best chance of survival, and best quality of life, after trauma.
When London calls, your support will mean we can continue to respond.
