Based in Wellington, each year Life Flight urgently flies approximately 1,400 patients from across New Zealand in our Westpac Rescue Helicopter or Air Ambulance Planes, either in medical emergencies or to access specialist hospital care.

Life Flight responds to a range of critical medical emergencies that require rapid patient transfer including heart attacks, strokes, neurosurgery, cancer, burns, spinal injuries, premature babies, and critically ill children.
