At Kemp Care Network, we believe hospice palliative care and grief support should be available to every individual and every family—at every stage of life.

Dr. Kemp’s House offers a home away from home for individuals at the end of life. Our modern hospice provides expert pain and symptom management alongside wrap-around psychosocial care in a warm, compassionate setting. Families are supported through some of life’s most difficult moments, often finding relief from the burdens of caregiving while remaining close—sometimes even staying overnight with their loved ones. It is a place of comfort, dignity, and meaningful memory-making.

Beyond hospice care, our Grief and Bereavement Centre ensures that no one has to navigate loss alone. We offer inclusive, culturally sensitive support for children, youth, and adults through:

• One-on-one grief counselling (ages 5+)

• Peer support groups for shared healing

• Burger Boxes, customizable grief kits for children and youth

• Camp Keaton, a bereavement camp where children and teens heal through play and connection

• Compassionate Listeners, an 8-week volunteer-led phone support program

• Community grief education workshops and lunch-and-learns

As a leader in hospice care for more than 30 years, Kemp Care Network is now addressing a critical gap in our community with

Keaton’s House – Paul Paletta Children’s Hospice. This specialized facility will provide a comforting second home for infants, children, teens, and their families, offering:

• Medical clinics and pain management

• Complementary therapies

• Ten beds for respite and end-of-life care

• Comprehensive grief and bereavement support

To make Keaton’s House a reality, we have launched a bold $25 million capital campaign. With government funding covering only 10% of capital costs, community leadership is essential. We are proud to be halfway to our goal—but we cannot finish without partners like you.
