To provide assistance to pet owners in the Jemez mountains and valley, where a high percentage of residents are low/no income, and due to limited resources, would be forced to give up their pets. JVAA provides a safety net for families-in-need by offering low-cost spay/neuter and vet care. Since our area is known as a dumping ground, we also rescue abandoned cats and dogs, provide them with vet care, and adopt them to loving homes.
