Nigeria faces a severe shortage of affordable surgical, dental, and eye care. Millions live with treatable conditions like hernias, cataracts, cleft palate, and severe dental disease simply because they cannot afford treatment, in a country with only 0.4 surgeons per 100,000 people. International Mission Opportunities (IMO Missions) exists to close that gap.

Since 2016, IMO has treated over 12,900 patients, performed 1,000+ surgeries (including 209+ cataract surgeries restoring sight), provided dental care to 945+ patients, dispensed medication to over 8,200 individuals, and trained 133 nurses, all through the dedication of 600+ volunteer doctors, nurses, and support staff who give their time and skill freely.

IMO is now entering a new phase of growth: building a permanent, sustainably powered surgical hospital in Jos, Nigeria, to serve patients year-round rather than mission-trip by mission-trip.
