From Stray to Stay Dog Rescue began with two friends and one shared belief: every dog (and cat) deserves a safe place to land. Today, we work tirelessly to rescue, vet, rehabilitate, and place dogs (and cats) into loving homes. We’re small, but we fight hard — and your support directly fuels life‑changing outcomes for dogs (and cats) who would otherwise be forgotten. We are a 100% volunteer driven registered charity. Every dollar we raise goes to the animals in our care. We are located in Victoria, BC. We made a shared commitment to work with underserved and remote communities both here on the island and in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

Even as a small rescue, From Stray to Stay Dog Rescue has tried to make a big impact. We’ve funded thousands of dollars in dental care for a senior dog, helped spay and neuter cats for people in crisis, and donated pet food to both the SPCA Food Library and a local community food bank. Our work is simple: help where help is needed most.
