The mission of the Humane Society of Ray County is to save the lives of homeless dogs and cats, and to care for them for the time required to place them as healthy, spayed or neutered pets in loving homes. We provide care for pets who are lost, strayed, or unwanted, and for animals whose owners are forced by conditions beyond their control to offer them for placement in new homes. In the case of lost or strayed animals, we make a sincere effort to reunite them with their owners before offering them for adoption.
