Every year, thousands of horses are homeless, abandoned, neglected, unwanted or retired and often with no place to go other than to the auction and almost a guarantee of slaughter. We say, Adopted is a Great Alternative to Slaughter. We can change the world, one horse and one person at a time. We are not a sanctuary but rather, our goal is secure loving, responsible, caring, committed forever homes for horses in need, regardless of their condition or the reason someone is giving them up. We work with government agencies, individuals, guest and dude ranches and working ranches. Just because a horse is older or may be imperfect or may have a condition, does not mean that its life is not still valuable. Horses change lives and we can change theirs.
