The Dylan Jolly Memorial Scholarship Fund was started in 2017 when Dylan was on his way home to Menifee to Celebrate his 19th Birthday when he was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident. Dylan would have turned 19 the following morning.

Dylan was an exceptional student. He grew up in the Menifee area and graduated from Paloma Valley High School in 2016. Dylan graduated with honors and was top 25 of his graduating class. At the time of the accident, Dylan was attending UCSD and was leaning towards a major in finance along with international business.

While attending Paloma Valley High School Dylan was a student of Mr. Ryan Lundstrom Calculus class. Dylan was not only one of his students, but Mr. Lundstrom became a mentor and a friend of Dylan's. Dylan loved his class and looked forward to going everyday. Even after Dylan graduated they kept in touch.

After Dylan's death we contacted Mr. Lundstrom and asked that he be the one to pick the student to receive the scholarship. We created the scholarship in memory of Dylan and wanted someone with the same drive and passion that Dylan had. The recipient needed to be someone deserving, hard working, and a passionate young adult that reminded us of this.

The Dylan Jolly Memorial Scholarship will be given annually at the Senior Awards Night at Paloma Valley High School Menifee CA. Mr. Lundstrom will present the award to the deserving scholar of his choice. One hundred percent of the monies raised goes to the scholarship recipient.
