HOPE Charity Project helps young people aged 10-18 and their families in worrying Mental Health and emotional well being situations. The current mental health system is failing to adequately help and support young people and their families that are in desperate need of somewhere neutral to go, where they just want an understanding ear to listen. The Hope Charity Project has been set up to help families in Sussex who are struggling to support their children suffering with mental health issues. We offer a holistic approach to providing advice, support and comfort to the children, parents and siblings who are all effected by this growing problem. Not only do we provide a reassuring environment for the young person in crisis, we also understand the importance of support for the family, and have designed our services for all. Our aim is not only to unite our own local community, but to bring together other groups in communities throughout the UK, building our network of families helping each other at these times when there is nowhere else to turn. Having gone through extensive experiences and being on the receiving end of a currently failing system in crisis, we have taken it upon ourselves to fill a massive gap for children between the ages of 10-18 and their families who are suffering unnecessarily.
