Holistic Riding Equestrian Therapy (HRET) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit based in Lemont and Homer Glen, Illinois, dedicated to transforming lives through Equine-Assisted Services (EAS). Our mission is to empower individuals of all ages and abilities—including children, adults, and veterans facing physical, emotional, cognitive, or social challenges—by fostering growth, independence, and confidence through human-horse connections.

What We Do

• Equine-Assisted Services: We offer skill-appropriate classes and inclusive riding programs, providing opportunities for participants to bond with horses and teammates. Our programs promote physical strength, balance, coordination, and social skills, while also nurturing emotional well-being and self-esteem.
• Community Impact: Serving over 100 families weekly, HRET partners with local schools, supports Special Olympics athletes, and creates hands-on farm experiences that inspire future educational and career opportunities.
• Inclusivity & Accessibility: Our ADA-compliant facility and financial aid fund ensure that no one is turned away due to ability or economic barriers.
