The Hills Wildlife Sanctuary is poised to become Sydney’s hub for biodiversity conservation, education, and threatened species recovery. Established in 1977, the sanctuary has a long history of wildlife care and advocacy and is conveniently located on 35 acres of pristine natural bushland in Dural, just 45 minutes’ drive from the Sydney CBD.The sanctuary is run entirely by volunteers and the team is comprised of veterinarians, zookeepers, wildlife carers, emergency response personnel, and trades people. The Hills Wildlife Sanctuary is committed to the comfort, service and survival of all Australian native wildlife, relying solely on the fundraising efforts of our dedicated team, along with the generous support from local businesses through sponsorship and donations of equipment and services.Please get behind this important cause, working on the frontline of wildlife and environmental conservation in Australia for almost 50 years.
