Hessilhead Wildlife Rescue Cover Photo
Hessilhead admits approximately 4,000 wildlife casualties a year with the aim of treating, rearing and rehabilitating for return to the wild.Species treated include many common garden birds, pigeons, gulls, corvids and swans. Less common species have included ivory gull, nightjar, long-eared owls, osprey and red kite. Hundreds of hedgehogs are treated each year. Fox, otter and badger cubs are reared, as well as rabbits and hares, common and grey seals, roe deer and bats. Our costs are escalating. More enclosures, incubators and brooders are needed and we receive no government funding. Our supporters are fantastic and their contributions allow us to continue this important work. With your help we can continue to make a difference. Please join us to help these wildlife casualties that depend on our support for their survival.
