Pico's Pack is a volunteer partnership between Serbia and the U.K. We care for the abandoned and abused street dogs of Belgrade. These dogs live by busy roads, in carparks, and even on wasteland. Sadly, most people are not concerned for their welfare. There is little sympathy and some seek to poison, torture and abuse them. There are currently around 120 dogs being looked after by volunteers at Pico’s Pack. Worryingly, the number of dogs being sent to Pico’s continues to rise. Puppies and dogs are frequently abandoned anonymously at the front door. The U.K. Support Team works hard behind the scenes, focusing on fundraising and sharing our activities across social media and our website. Where funds allow, we pay for dogs to be spayed/neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed and micro-chipped in order to get them ready for adoption to find their forever home. Our aim is to re-home as many dogs as possible to provide them with the love and affection they deserve, and also care for the remaining dogs that will sadly never be able to make the journey. Without financial support, Pico’s Pack would not be able to continue the work we do.
