About us
Heart of the Valley, SERVICES FOR SENIORS, Inc. (HOV), is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting independent living for seniors in West Santa Clara Valley. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, HOV offers essential services aimed at helping older adults remain self-sufficient and active members of their community. The organization provides a range of assistance, including door-through-door transportation, which ensures seniors receive safe travel to appointments and errands with someone to wait and accompany them. Beyond transportation, HOV offers a variety of other services such as handyman work, light yard work, assistance with house projects, grocery shopping, paperwork management, computer help, and friendly visits. These services are designed to support seniors in maintaining their independence without relying on family or friends for daily tasks. Heart of the Valley is committed to making the lives of seniors in the West Santa Clara Valley easier and more enjoyable by providing compassionate and comprehensive services. For those in need, whether for themselves or a loved one, HOV is a valuable resource, working tirelessly to meet the unique needs of seniors in the community.
