The Batavia Business & Professional Women’s Club, Inc. is a non profit charitable 501c3 organization that was established 100 plus years ago in 1921 when all other clubs were strictly composed of men. Members believe themselves to be a cohesive group of dedicated women working together to improve the lives of others. For 103 years the BBPWC, Inc. has been serving the community in a plethora of ways. Currently, we raise thousands of dollars each year to provide scholarships for Genesee County High School Seniors and to support local charitable organizations. In addition, we donate funds throughout the year to programs who have a need. We also have a community service committee that is tasked with identifying volunteer needs in the community. Requests are made by civic organizations for specific community events. Members then volunteer their services on an individual basis.
