Hear No Evil- Australian Deaf Dog Rescue was set up specifically to give deaf & special needs dogs the second chance they deserve. We aim to raise awareness for Deaf Dogs, and the alternative options available for them rather than euthanasia. We want everyone to know that a deaf dog is just deaf, not dumb! We offer ongoing support to any adopting families for LIFE and even partner with trainers to help sort out unwanted and unhealthy behaviours - we want a FOREVER home to mean just that! We are run solely by volunteers and we do not receive any government funding. It can get very expensive running a rescue organisation. Besides the cost of routine care, training and medical treatment there is the cost of transporting dogs to foster carers, the desexing and microchipping, leads, flea treatments and unexpected veterinary visits, the costs mount up quickly. Without your generous support we just wouldn’t be able to save and re-home as many deaf and special need dogs as we do. Help us continue our work.
