Since 1987, the team at Hawk Creek have dedicated our lives to protecting wildlife through education, rescue, conservation initiatives, and providing a home for animals who have nowhere else to turn. Our dream is of a world where humans and wildlife live in harmony, and the natural world around us remains healthy and vibrant to enrich our lives and the lives of the generations that will follow ours. Through our work, we have helped hundreds of wild animals like “Sherlock” the Turkey Vulture- an imprinted bird who was raised by people then nearly killed for looking to humans for food and companionship- or “Apache” the Golden Eagle, who was injured as a chick, cannot fly and will never be able to survive on her own. Although the challenge is tremendous, we have been incredibly fortunate to never be alone in this endeavor; the generosity of our community has allowed us to make a difference, and thanks to our supporters, we will not be stopping any time soon.
