For 25 years, Girls Write Now has proven the case that strong writing and communication skills are crucial to developing the whole leader: academically at the intersection of arts and social justice; professionally across all industries; and personally by social-emotional learning in a healing-centered space.

Through intensive one-to-one mentoring and a rigorous curriculum, Girls Write Now serves a multi-generational community of women and gender expansive teens and adults through all stages of *school and career*—and also through all stages of *life* from early adolescence, into midlife, retirement, and beyond. Our writers—mentees 14-24 and mentors 25+ —come with diverse backgrounds, experiences, and needs. Mentees are over 90% BIPOC, 90% high need, 75% immigrant/first-generation, and 25% LGBTQIA+.In addition to being the first writing and mentoring organization of its kind, Girls Write Now continually ranks among the top programs nationwide for driving social-emotional growth for youth.
