From Heart to Heart Foundation (Fundación De Corazón a Corazón) is a Colombian nonprofit based in Neiva, Huila, with a bridge to supporters in the United States. Its purpose is to change the social reality of vulnerable communities by putting young people at the center: building on their skills, empowering them to serve their own neighborhoods, and instilling personal, social, and environmental values that give families hope.

Vision: To become a foundation that improves living conditions for the most disadvantaged groups through inclusive social work. It aims to bring harmony to young people and prepare them to lead their communities toward well-being in the future.

Approach: The foundation works on the principle of shared responsibility. Rather than running single, isolated programs, it builds a network that actively involves children, teenagers, parents, community leaders, and residents. The goal is for everyone to help rebuild the social fabric together.

Projects:

• Christmas Gifts for Needy Children in Colombia – A U.S.–Colombia effort to bring joy, hope and reconciliation to remote areas hit hardest by social need, framed as a contribution to peace.

• Beautiful Day—Community clean-up and beautification days that raise environmental awareness. Children who take part receive a small gift.

• Leer Te Hace Grande (Reading Makes You Great) – Building a reading habit in children, a focus that runs through all of the foundation’s projects.

• RHOCC – Community Home Organic Garden Network – Helping urban households grow their own food by making use of available land.
