Friends of the Alexandria Zoo (FOTAZ) is dedicated to the support, promotion and improvement of the Alexandria Zoological Park. FOTAZ is a nonprofit organization committed to the continuing improvement of the Alexandria Zoo by supporting its mission to promote understanding and conservation of the natural world in which we live. In doing so, FOTAZ aids the Zoo by providing educational, cultural, and recreational experiences for our visitors and our local community through the professional management of a diverse collection of animals and programming which promotes the conservation of all wildlife. As a non-profit support group, we are always looking for ways we can enhance the visitor experience here at the Zoo.
