Free Your Mind CIC is a nonprofit children’s domestic violence and trauma support service. We are currently the only service in the UK that focusses on specifically supporting children and young people who have witnessed domestic abuse.  We are entirely dependent on donations for our revenue stream, and are putting out an urgent call to action, to raise funds to help meet the unprecedented demand we currently face. Domestic abuse cases rose to almost 10% last year, and children and young people who were at home during are still picking up the pieces of the trauma they have faced. We are here to help them heal and offer free specialised therapy. Each of our practitioners has lived experience of growing up around domestic abuse, providing us with unique expertise and perspective.
