FRRR provides funding and capacity building support for remote, rural and regional communities across Australia. Our focus is to build resilience and long-term viability and vitality of these small communities at the hyper-local level. We have reach, relationships, networks and know-how to align funding to community-led solutions. A big part of our job is to listen and build understanding, to amplify their voices, as well as facilitate funding to meet opportunities.
Since our inception in 2000, FRRR has distributed more than $177 million in grants to over 14,000 community groups across remote, rural and regional Australia. We are the only national foundation specifically focussed on ensuring social and economic strength in remote, rural and regional Australia by aligning government, philanthropic and local community purpose and investment.
