Fill a Heart 4 Kids (FAH4K) provides homeless, at risk, and foster children food, critical necessities, life skills & educational support to empower & Build Brighter Futures 4 Kids!   We partner with schools, hospitals, and institutions to identify, vet and support the most vulnerable children in the Chicagoland area. FAH4K is dedicated to meeting the needs of homeless youth and foster children, with a focus on their education and future success, while also showing them that they are wanted and cared for. Our programs provide:• New clothing to help reduce school absenteeism, peer shaming and trafficking ;• Shelf-stable meals to reduce hunger, improve health, and help prevent youth from taking risks for food, such as stealing and trafficking themselves;• Fast food gift cards to provide a safety net for kids, allowing them to get off the street, warm up, wash-up, and eat with dignity; • School supplies throughout the year to reduce stress, motivate, and create a better learning experience; and • Providing toiletries & soap (to wash clothes) to reduce shaming in school, decrease embarrassment and absenteeism, promote health and hygiene, and restore a child’s confidence.
