As a Canadian, Registered, Not for Profit Society , we rely on donations to make rescuing, and re homing our "dogs at risk" possible. In 10 years we have rescued and re-homed 1200 dogs - internationally and locally - at risk of being euthanized, surrendered, abandoned or abused. We are a 100% volunteer based group, with amazing volunteers who work tirelessly to assess potential adopters, transport, transition, foster, and manage the rescues busy schedule. We , like all others, suffered greatly in 2020 with the onset on the Global Pandemic. All fundraising came to a virtual stop. People are struggling to keep themselves afloat, let alone have money to donate. Our transportation fee's (all in USD)have sky rocketed. We have been paying for returning citizens airline tickets so they can escort one dog under their seat, or in cargo. We do not see a light at the end of the tunnel (yet), but are committed to our cause , and at all costs, will rescue and re-home as many as we can under this global duress.
