Family Support Network Inc. (FSN), a cherished community-based organisation in Lismore, offers an array of programs and services for children, young people, and families. Founded in 1989 as Lismore Family Support and later becoming FSN, this organisation has become a vital resource for families. It has nurtured strong collaborative relationships with local child and family government and non-government service sectors. Initially based in central Lismore, FSN has operated from Uralba Street, Laurel Avenue, and our previous premises on Wyrallah Road, East Lismore. Our outreach and playgroup centres in Nimbin and South Lismore also bear testament to our extensive reach. After the 2022 floods damaged our Wyrallah Road premises and South Lismore centre, we temporarily relocated to Magellan Street in the Lismore CBD. Our services are crafted to support families throughout their parenting journey, from the prenatal stage to raising teenagers. Our dedicated team of highly skilled professionals is committed to empowering families and creating nurturing environments.Funded by the NSW Department of Communities & Justice, we provide Targeted Early Intervention programs to the Lismore community, including family support, parenting programs, supported playgroups and babies groups, school holiday programs, and intensive family preservation.
