F.A.C.T. (Feline Advocates Coming Together) was formed in 2010. We are a small group of volunteers who have a passion for helping cats (and the occasional dog, rabbit, guinea pig, and bird!).
Our mission is to help create a better world for homeless cats through education, advocating for the humane treatment of cats, and working to create effective animal welfare programs.
Over the last 16 years, we have found homes for around 2,500 cats! In mid-2017, we started a spay/neuter program to help underserved areas in our community. Since then, we have expanded to multiple counties and spayed/neutered nearly 3,000 feral and owned cats!
Every dollar donated goes to our programs to help cats in our community. We also collaborate with other organizations, such as pet food pantries, to maximize our impact.
More recently, we have focused our efforts on growing our spay/neuter program and have created an advocacy program with the goal of improving animal welfare in our community, state, and country. We write petitions and letters to our lawmakers urging them to put more focus on animal welfare and improve laws to better protect them.
