Emerge Women & Children’s Support Network works alongside women and children impacted by family violence to move toward safety, autonomy and healing — and to rebuild their lives.
For 50 years, Emerge has delivered specialist refuge, housing and outreach services in Melbourne, supporting families from across Victoria at times of crisis. We combine safe housing with trauma-informed, evidence-based programs that bridge the critical gap between crisis and recovery.
Central to this work is Back on Track, our early-intervention program for children aged 5–12 who have experienced family violence. The program strengthens attachment, emotional regulation and family safety, helping to disrupt intergenerational cycles of violence.
Guided by collaboration, compassion, integrity, innovation, feminism and social justice, Emerge works to break the cycles of family violence and create pathways toward long-term recovery and independence. Your support plays a vital role in sustaining this work and driving lasting change for families.
