Dougie’s Legacy Animal Rescue is a compassionate, nonprofit organization based in Wagga, dedicated to giving animals a second chance at a happy life. We rescue animals from local and regional shelters, as well as from owners who can no longer care for them, ensuring they receive the love and care they deserve. We also take in long term fosters that are old or sick and they will stay in long term foster care so we can give them the love and care they deserve until they cross the rainbow bridge. Our team of devoted foster carers provides temporary homes for these animals, nurturing them until we find their perfect forever families.Each animal in our care receives essential veterinary treatment, nutritional food, and support thanks to the generosity of our donors.
