The Diabetes Research Institute Foundation Canada(DRIFCan) mission is to accelerate the cure for Diabetes by directly funding cure based researcher Dr James Shapiro and his team. There are over 450 million people around the world with a form of diabetes and it is imperative that a cure is found. There are so many great treatments and technology that supports people with diabetes but now is the time to find a cure. All people who live with Diabetes fall into a high risk health category and during times like now, with Covid 19, more than ever we need to support the world renowned researcher to find a cure.
