Welcome to Deaf Choices UK. DCUK. Our name reflects our approach.
We support parents of deaf children to make the best CHOICE(S) for Language, Literacy and Communication.
We believe that every deaf child and every family has a unique set of needs and DCUK is here to help you navigate and explore the choices that are available to you, so that you can make an informed choice.
Deaf Choices UK is the only charity in the UK that provide training in Cued Speech.• £10 pays for a Free family pack to be sent to a deaf child which includes cued stories, songs, and games which can be played with all the family.
• £100 pays for on-line training in Cued Speech for all the professionals who support a deaf child.
• £200 would cover one Love Reading session for up to 5 children.
• £2,000 pays for 3 filmed cued/BSL bedtime stories.
• £10,000 will support 20 families from across the UK to receive support for their deaf baby and training in Cued Speech from a Regional Choice Advisor
