COMMUNITY and COLLEGE PARTNERS PROGRAM (C2P2) Poor and underserved communities need resources to improve their quality of life, but they often lack the technical knowledge and skills needed to go after those resources. In order for underserved communities to have a chance to succeed, a level playing field needs to be created to give them to opportunity to compete for the resources needed to improve their economic viability, health, environmental conditions, and overall quality of life. C2P2 program was created to assist these communities to help make the difference.

Through C2P2, communities gain access to a wide range of assistance for their issues by enlisting colleges, universities and other partners to assist these underserved communities with vital technical support through student internships, capstone projects, and other pro bono support. Our focus is on issues as identified by the communities; we do not tell them what we are going to give them; we ask how we can help. 

We know this concept works; the program has supported over 180 projects in 70 communities and generated over $45,000,000 worth of immediate benefits to communities over the last twelve years. But our ability to continue our assistance is limited by the resources we have to staff the organization. C2P2 seeks funding to enable us to continue our work across the country.
