Climate change is the greatest challenge facing our generation, requiring a rapid transition to a renewable energy future. However, energy leadership at a Federal level continues to stagnate and lack vision. The Climate Council is Australia's leading climate communications organisation and seeks to address this gap. The Climate Council’s mission is to shift the public discourse to enable action on climate change, by engaging persuasively and authoritatively with the Australian public. We achieve this by conducting world-class climate research, based on the best science available, and raising awareness on these issues by effectively communicating this to the public through in-depth reports, cut-through digital content and prolific media coverage. The Climate Council also seeks to combat misinformation so that decision making and leadership on climate and energy is based on science and the facts.
