About us
The Cheyenne Animal Shelter cares for nearly 6,000 animals each year. As a private non-profit, we contract with the City of Cheyenne and Laramie County to provide animal control and protection services. Our in-house medical team performs over 2,000 spay/neuter surgeries each year and well as nearly 300 "Big Fix" spay/neuters for income-qualified patrons. In fiscal year 2020, the Shelter placed 2,051 pets into new loving homes and returned 1,112 to their owners.
