The Charity That Receives The Millionth Vote This Weekend Wins $1,000!
Celebrity Pets Rescue Charitable Trust is a rescue and rehabilitation program for animals that find themselves lost or abandoned through the local councilās impoundment procedure. We have rehomed literally THOUSANDS of beautiful creatures that deserve second chances, which in other circumstances would have met with very different fates. Because of a general lack of exposure and social skills, some unruly āCelebritiesā can be more difficult to place, so we enlist the services of a behavioural specialist. Paul from Complete K9 Solutions visits each week to introduce rehabilitation programs for pooches that need extra help before being adopted. The benefit of intense assessment has been rewarded 100 fold. Many of the bigger more powerful breeds can be relocated with confidence that their new owners will have the tools to continue their rehabilitation. Our core team members spend countless volunteer hours providing the general pet care and administration duties that a Charity of this nature generates: photographing; vet runs; bathing worming and flea treatments; conducting āmeet and greetsā; attending endless telephone/email enquiries; placing ads; creating pet profiles; organising sterilizations; recording microchips and transfers; performing record keeping and reporting duties; and so on. We NEED help meeting the costs of running our Charity.
