Cats in Distress is a volunteer-led rescue dedicated to giving every cat a second chance.

We believe every cat deserves help, regardless of age, health, behaviour or background. We never apply one-size-fits-all rehoming rules as every cat and every adopter is considered as an individual, ensuring the best possible match while never turning away those who need us most.

As well as rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming hundreds of cats each year, we're proud to be a community charity. Through education, school visits, children's pet care parties, responsible pet ownership campaigns and local outreach, we're inspiring the next generation of animal lovers and helping keep pets in loving homes.

We're also looking to the future. Our next major goal is to build a dedicated Isolation & Intensive Care Unit, allowing us to safely care for vulnerable cats with infectious diseases, newborn kittens and those requiring intensive veterinary support.
