The Canadian Lymphedema Framework (CLF) is a national registered charity working to improve lymphedema care across Canada. 

We bring together people living with lymphedema, clinicians, researchers, educators, provincial organizations, health-system leaders, and other interest-holders to strengthen education, research, awareness, advocacy, and collaboration. 

Lymphedema is a chronic condition affecting more than 1.25 million Canadians – roughly 1 in 33 people. Despite its prevalence, it remains under-recognized, and awareness and access to knowledgeable care remain uneven across Canada. The CLF works nationally to help close those gaps by developing and sharing trusted educational resources, supporting research and knowledge translation, connecting the lymphedema community, and creating opportunities for learning and collaboration. 

Our work includes Pathways, Canada’s national lymphedema magazine; educational resources for patients and health professionals; national learning events and initiatives; research partnerships; awareness and advocacy efforts; and collaboration with provincial, national, and international partners. 

Donations help sustain this work and strengthen our ability to connect people with reliable information, advance education and research, amplify patient and clinician voices, and work toward better lymphedema care across Canada. 

Our vision is a future where every person in Canada has timely access to knowledgeable care, reliable information, and supportive resources for lymphedema.
