The Bay Area Friendship Circle builds an inclusive and supportive community for neurodivergent children, teens, and young adults, and their families. At our programs, participants are matched with a trained teen volunteer buddy who provides friendship and support. Participants and volunteers engage together in a variety of social, educational, and recreational programs designed to foster inclusion, connection, and personal growth.

Our programs allow participants a space where they can be themselves while building confidence, social skills, and lasting friendships in a safe, supportive, welcoming, and inclusive environment. Through structured activities and peer mentorship, participants experience meaningful social connection that is often difficult to access in traditional extracurricular settings.

We also create opportunities for families to connect with one another, build relationships, and gain support from others navigating similar experiences. By bringing together participants, volunteers, and families, Friendship Circle strengthens community belonging and promotes a culture of inclusion across the broader region.
