Save Ohio Pets was founded by 4 passionate women from the animal rescue community that realized there was no organization in Columbus whose sole focus was to combat the homeless pet population before pets ended up in shelters or rescues; from there, Save Ohio Pets was born. We are a 100% volunteer run and donation based 501c3 nonprofit, dedicated to offering FREE monthly wellness care (vaccines, flea meds, preventative care, & basic medical exams), FREE spay/neuter surgery, FREE microchipping and FREE pet food, to those in Franklin County who qualify. We held our first clinic in 2017, and since then we’ve covered spay/neuter surgeries for well over 2,000 animals and provided health care for thousands more!
