Aussie Ark is New South Wales’ largest independently operated conservation charity, built on the success of Devil Ark. Founded in 2010 to prevent the extinction of the Tasmanian Devil, the initiative grew and rebranded in 2015 as Aussie Ark. Now proudly entering its 15th year of operation, the organisation has become one of the most ambitious and successful wildlife recovery programs in the Southern Hemisphere. Today, Aussie Ark specialises in threatened species recovery, responding directly to Australia’s biodiversity crisis. The organisation delivers over 40 active conservation projects, protecting more than 17 priority threatened species, including marsupials, reptiles, amphibians, and freshwater turtles.
