Animal-Kind International raises much-needed funds for Animal Welfare, Rescue, and Protection Organizations in Africa and Latin America-Caribbean. Our supported organizations are community-based, locally rooted, highly effective, & verified: We identify the most effective animal welfare organizations and put 100% of your donations toward rescue and protection of animals in resource-poor countries. Specifically, we support animal shelter operations, community spay/neuter, rescue, rehabilitation, and re-homing of animals from the street and from cruelty situations; emergency vet care, including spay/neuter, for pets of impoverished families and for street dogs and cats; vet clinics for working and abandoned donkeys and horses; and through humane education in schools and communities, as well as by example, change attitudes and behaviors towards all animals. Currently, we support organizations helping cats, dogs, donkeys, and horses in Democratic Republic of Congo, Uganda, Namibia, Liberia, Zimbabwe, Ghana, South Africa, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, Honduras, Jamaica, and Israel/Gaza. Support within these countries, as well as international funding for domestic (vs. wildlife) animal rescue and protection, is so limited. We can help fill this gap because we personally know the organizations we support, can vouch for them and monitor their work, and thanks to your generous donations.
