About us
For the last 12 years, Alianza Pro Rescate de Animales, Inc. (APRA) has had one main mission: the rescue and rehabilitation of stray and abandoned dogs in Puerto Rico called satos. "Sato" is slang for street dog in Puerto Rico. We rescue Satos from the streets, provide them with medical care, food and shelter, and plenty of love. A 501(c)3 not for profit organization established in 2012, APRA serves the Puerto Rican community through three programs: Humane Education Program, Transport Program and Rescue and Adoption Program. WE NEED YOU to support ourcause and be part of our mission. Foster, Rescue, Donate, Volunteer.
