After 12 years of supporting and volunteering with other rescues it became clear that there would never be enough help.  The feline population at large, is an invasive species to no fault of their own. AdvoCats was created to provide TNR, training, education, and assistance to all felines despite their situation. We routinely provide traps and assistance, as well as funding, to all of our surrounding counties. In addition, we house and provide adoptions to 75 - 100 cats at any given time. We are solely responsible for all medical and care costs. We accept all donations: sellable items as well as financial contributions to help support the cause. We are currently getting involved in our local government's efforts to create bills that will protect and aid in our humane mission. Whether you like cats or not, this is a serious and growing problem that will, at some point, touch everyone's lives.
