About us
A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue, founded in October 2007, is a 100% volunteer, foster-based 501(c)(3) non-profit rescue group based in Palm Beach County, Florida. From the Board of Directors to our Foster Caretakers to our Event Staff, each volunteer gives generously of their time and skills, motivated solely by a desire to help animals. Our Mission:
Devoted to saving pregnant and nursing dogs, cats and their offspring, keeping them in safe, healthy foster environments until they are adopted by loving forever families, while promoting animal welfare and the prevention of homeless animals by means of spay/neuter education and working toward the goal of a euthanasia-free community.
The Process:
Our animals are cared for in foster homes until they are vet checked, spayed or neutered, microchipped and current on all vaccines. Once a clean bill of health is given, then the adoption process begins. Thanks to one of our Adoption Partners, we are fortunate to be able to display some of our available our cats and kittens in local PETCO and PETSMART stores. These cats and kittens are all spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready for adoption.
